Dry atmospheric deposits are fine particles originating from a distance (fugitive dust) or locally (traffic on un-paved roads, construction and industrial) sources. Dustfall rates vary from region to region. Rural dustfalls depend on soil condition; urban dustfalls are more related to local air pollution.
